This Time in Space – poem

flat,800x800,070,f

Azure Blue

paints the sky

and cars pass on their way.

The wind sings a love song to the trees

as the crickets play their song.

The last Kiss of summer sun

reflected of dragonfly wings.

Gossamer spider silk  floats

through the air on a northern breeze.

Brother wind caresses my skin and whispers in my ear

as he makes love to the spirit of the ageless tree.

Each passing car

a reminder

each plane overhead,

each golf cart wizzing by

A reminder,

a teather,

to this time

to this space

to this time and space.
